Sigung Terry Sanchez (6th Degree Black Belt)

Sigung Terry Sanchez began his martial arts training with Judo in 1970. He then studied Chinese Kenpo Karate in 1970 under David Cardenas and received his black belt in 1973. Terry Sanchez has owned and operated Twin Dragons since 1973. He has four years of college education with a degree in Psychology and an Associate's Degree in Business and has taught Karate skills in secondary schools in the San Diego area.

Maestro Terry Sanchez began fencing in foil and epee in 1983 with Andy Goldman, a local instructor who also taught fencing at Mesa College. Terry also fenced at General Dynamics, receiving private instruction with visiting masters from the Los Angeles area. Terry received instruction in sabre from Aaron Kandlif in El Cajon from 2000 to 2001. Fencing continues to be rewarding for Terry as an instructor/trainer at Twin Dragons.

Terry currently teaches Karate, Fencing, Thai Kick Boxing, and Grappling at Twin Dragons. He specializes in Women's and Children's Self-defense.
